This is a podcast recording of the K-12 Horizon Report panel presentation at the CoSN Conference in Austin, Texas, on March 11, 2009. According to the project’s official website, “The Horizon Project, as the centerpiece of NMC’s Emerging Technologies Initiative, charts the landscape of emerging technologies for teaching, learning and creative inquiry and produces the NMC’s series of Horizon Reports.” The K-12 Horizon Report focuses on emerging technologies which specifically relate to K-12 Education. The “Horizon Report: K12 Edition Wiki” provides links not only to the 2009 and2010 K-12 Edition Horizon Reports, but also background about the 2011 K-12 Horizon Report work which is ongoing. My text notes from this session are also available.
