This podcast is an unedited recording of Wesley Fryer’s workshop on April 5, 2012, “No Edit Audio Podcasting” for Yukon Public Schools. Resources for this session are available on wiki.wesfryer.com/Home/handouts/noedit. Since I shared this workshop last Spring, my thinking has shifted about naming this activity and professional development sessions like this. My preference is now to teach both teachers and students how to create “Narrated Art” as well as “Radio Shows.” Those are both products included in my “Mapping Media to the Curriculum” digital literacy project. (I think it’s best to avoid technical jargon and acronyms when it comes to multimedia communication with teachers, since those terms are more likely to “intimidate rather than invite” teachers to play with media.)
